“Ron Weasley has been a part of me since I was 11 years old and I can’t wait to meet him again at this stage of life,” Grint expressed, highlighting the unique experience of revisiting the character now that both he and Ron are depicted as fathers. Grint’s return to the wizarding realm on stage follows in the footsteps of Tom Felton, who recently took on the role of Draco Malfoy in the same Broadway production. Felton’s engagement with the show is set to continue until January, paving the way for Grint’s highly anticipated arrival.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child first captivated audiences with its London premiere in 2016 and has since expanded globally, amassing an impressive tally of over 14 million tickets sold. The New York production alone has grossed more than $532 million, underscoring its enduring popularity and wide-reaching appeal.
Beyond his iconic role as Ron, Grint has ventured into various other acting projects, including his Broadway debut in 2014 with the comedy It’s Only a Play.
